As you may know, at the 2010 Rally of the Tall Pines, we auctioned off 2 charity rides that raised over $800 for the Bancroft Sled Dog Races, which promotes physical fitness amongst kids in the Bancroft area. We felt that was extremely important, because we want our kids to be healthy and athletic!
Being able to host a stage rally is only made possible by the support of die hard volunteers. Volunteers are those crazy fans who are out on the stages hours before we get to see them – setting up and making sure that the stage will be safe and fun for the spectators and competitors alike.
They stand there in rain, snow, sleet, hail, all not only for the chance to get a bit closer to the rally action, but also to make the amazing sport of performance rallying possible.
Next weekend, the organizers at Perce-Neige Maniwaki and CrazyLeo Can-Jam Rally Team will be joining forces for a drawing to reward two lucky volunteers with an opportunity of riding in Subaru the Beast on the shakedown stage, next weekend. We are doing this, for you, the volunteer, this is our way to say thanks.
